Winter Holidays To The Carribean

Filed under : Camping, Travel Tips

Winter is just around the corner and the weather has already taken a sudden turn for the worse, it’s now even harder to get out of bed in the morning. So why put up with it? Just pack your suitcase, because nothing is quite like a winter holiday in the sun. If winter days seem to bring you down, there’s a chance you could have the case of the Winter Blues. Those gloomy rainy days can make you feel tired and stressed, and can make it difficult to wake up in the morning. Insufficient exposure to sunlight can produce low levels of melatonin and serotonin which results in carbohydrate craving, weight gain, and sleep disturbance. Even if it’s not fully blown Seasonal Affective Disorder, why not treat yourself, you deserve some fun in the sun!!

Whether it’s a romantic getaway or a family break, Barbados holidays can provide the perfect winter escape. There’s nothing quite like lazing underneath the Caribbean sun on a pristine white sandy beach. However if you’re looking to let loose a little, then Barbados offers more possibilities for a nightlife than the other Caribbean Islands; with a good choice of bars and restaurants. Barbados is definately more commercially developed than the other Carribean Islands, but this doesnt spoil the islands natural beauty. The island of Mauritius also boasts spectacular scenery. Mauritius holidays are great value for money. Situated in the Indian Ocean, the island is blessed with idyllic beaches is a haven for deep sea fishing.

Maldives holidays don’t provide the greatest of nightlife, as the Maldivians don’t drink. However the island makes up for this in abundance with stunning scenery. The island is llike no other and is quite stunning to behold; the island is made up of a double chain of twenty-six atolls. There are plenty of activities for waterborne adventurers, with a range of water sports provided.
